"Feast of Amrita" won the "Best Animation Award" at the Philip K. Dick Film Festival 2024!


"Feast of Amrita" won the "Best Animation Award" at the Philip K. Dick Film Festival 2024, a popular film festival in New York named after the science fiction writer known for his original works such as "Blade Runner"!

This is the second time that "Feast of Amrita" has won an award at a film festival, following the "Audience Award" at the Tbilisi International Animated Film Festival.

This popular film festival is named after the famous science fiction author Philip K. Dick , known for works such as "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'', the original work for the movie "Blade Runner'', and "The Man in the High Castle''.

The official name of the festival is the Philip K. Dick Science Fiction & Supernatural Film Festival, which has been held since 2012, screening a selection of innovative and unique films with a strong auteuristic quality every year.

Director Saku Sakamoto's previous film, "ARAGNE: Sign of Vermillion" was also selected for the festival, but did not win an award. This is the first time he has received an award for "Feast of Amrita".
