Nightmare Bugs, the latest work from director Saku Sakamoto and a theatrical animated film with general director Osamu Fukutani, screened at the 58th Sitges International Film Festival of Catalonia, one of the world's three major fantastic film festivals, and received rapturous applause from the packed house despite the late-night screening.

The festival's official website also described it as "the infernal version of Alice in Wonderland," for which we are extremely grateful.

The next screening will be at the Utopiales Science Fiction Film Festival, Europe's largest sci-fi film festival. This is also a huge festival, attracting over 90,000 attendees annually. Just getting it to screen is impressive enough, but this time it's been nominated for the Feature Film Competition! We'll be aiming for the Grand Prix.

The screening will be on Friday, October 31st at 9:30pm. Who will win the Grand Prix?
